A Season of Intentional Prayer

We’d like to invite you into an intentional season of prayer as we look to Easter.

As a church, we want to build a habit of seeking the Lord daily. We do this by reading our Bibles, spending time with other believers, worship, prayer, and many other ways. This season we want to focus on aligning our hearts to the way of Jesus by reading and praying scripture, praying the Lord’s Prayer mid-day, and reflecting on our days with the Lord.

Here is how we are practicing intentional prayer:

1. Pray in the morning
Use the scriptures from our daily reading plan to start your morning in conversation with God.

2. The Lord’s Prayer
In the middle of your day, pray through the Lord’s prayer (Mt. 6:9-13) to stop and realign yourself to Him.

3. End your day with reflection
At the end of the day ask yourself these 3 questions:
– What am I thankful to God for today?
– What do I need to pay attention to (good/bad) from my day today?
– What is God inviting me into tomorrow?

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done,  on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Matthew 6:9-13
