International Missions

As we experience the goodness and love of God, we follow Christ's example by serving others and bringing the gospel--through our words and our actions--to people around the world.

Areas of Outreach

We have come alongside a ministry in Dublin that works to create community, preach the gospel, and love people practically among lower income families in the inner city. We also send short-term teams to help run family camps and youth camps.

We support missionaries in Burundi who use their specialized skills in agriculture, sustainable technology, and education to support and grow local communities that are still reeling from ethnic-based civil war.

Over the past 20 years Crossroads has worked to establish and support a Bible school that is training leaders from all over West Africa. We also send short-term evangelistic teams to support existing church ministries in the area.

We work with a local ministry that provides a home for orphans, training for pastors, and outreaches to the Hindu community. Having planted 2 churches and provided free healthcare clinics for 6,000 patients at every trip over the past 10 years, we continue to send teams to conduct medical clinics.

We support long term missionaries in a country that needs practical training as well as the gospel. These missionaries work to build relationships, create disciples, and hope to plant a church.

“All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him..."

Psalm 22:27

Hamburg, Germany

The Hench’s hearts are to disciple people so they would see and embrace the calling that God has given them in their lives. The vision for CityLight Hamburg is to become a church planting hub where church planters are trained and sent out throughout Hamburg and northern Germany. The Hench’s desire is to reach people that no one else is reaching within their local communities.

Jeff

Traveling, currently in Africa

Jeff served at Crossroads Church for close to 20 years, during which time he participated in many mission trips. In 2023, Jeff followed the Lord’s leading to be a missionary to missionaries. That translates to doing whatever needs to be done in any place he visits, all while listening to the Holy Spirit on where to go, who to see, and handing out as many pocket New Testament Bibles as possible. Jeff is currently serving as the interim school director for Calvary West Africa Bible Institute in Ghana.

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on the earth, your saving power among all nations.”

Psalm 67:1-2

Ongoing Projects

Bible College: Ghana

In 2007, we partnered with local Ghanaian pastors and teachers to found a Bible school. Since its founding, the school has been growing and hosts students from all over West Africa. We aim to train up disciples who know Jesus, know the Word and can take the gospel back to their communities, planting churches and sharing the good news of Jesus.
